As per the BSF notification 2020, these vacancies are allotted for Draftsman/ Grade I- Inspector, Sub-Inspector (Works), Sub Inspector/ Junior Engineer (Elect), Head Constable (Generator Mechanic, Wireman/ Lineman, Electrician/ Electrical, Carpenter/ Mason, Pump Operator, Pioneer, Welder & Technician) and Constable (Mason & Generator Operator). BSF SI recruitment 2020 selection process may be based on Physical Standard Test/ Written Test/ Medical Examination Test/ Interview. Selected aspirants will be placed all over the country. Appointment shall be made on deputation basis.

The Border Security Force (BSF) is India’s Primary border guarding organization on its border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is one of the three Border Guarding Forces (BGF) OF India and was raised in the wake of the 1965 War on 1 December 1965, “for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with”.
